I am sorry that my pictures of the Grand Canyon are not very good. It was late in the day, and also there is no way you can catch the awesome feeling of the canyon in a picture. We spent all day in the Canyon area, eating, walking and taking a bus tour. Side note: Mary has walked from the north rim to the south rim twice!.....in her younger days.
What a way to celebrate my 75th birthday. Thank you for all of the birthday wishes. I could not respond to everyone, but please know how much you mean to me. Tomorrow is back on Route 66 and on our way to California.
